FIRST BATCH of DVDs SOLD OUT AT HMV AND KINOKUNIYA.

They said it would never happen but it did. On December 8, 2005, the DVDs and VCDs for A WICKED TALE hit the shelves in Singapore.

In just one weekend, the DVDs at HMV were sold out. A WICKED TALE was even acknowledged as one of the Top Ten Selling DVDs of Kinokuniya. Stocks for the new limited double feature edition will be coming in to both outlets very shortly.

A WICKED TALE causes a stir
@ 9th ICON 2005 in ISRAEL

A WICKED TALE made its Israeli Premiere recently at the 9th ICON festival during the Jewish holiday of Sukkoth, 18-21 October 2005.

It was apparently the most talked about film of the festival. "A WICKED TALE is the film that caused the most impact in our festival. I've heard lots of "What on earth have we just seen?!" comments after the screening." says Tomer Shalev from the festival.

"People kept talking about this movie in the Icon Festival online forum, about how daring this movie is. The audience couldn't sit quietly during the screening - lots of whispering went on in there - which is something we didn't see in other films."

A WICKED TALE creates a storm at the 2005 Fantasia Festival in Montreal. This obscure 45 minute featurette by little-known Singapore director Tzang Merwyn Tong became a surprise hit at annual festival dedicated to genre films.
